Do you need to control access to your premises? Then you need Face Alert
What is Face Alert?
Face Alert is a revolutionary new intelligent Face Recognition system. Face alert provides high level automated access security and control allowing real-time monitoring and flagging of persons entering, using or leaving permanent or temporary premises – instantly alerting security of identification of listed persons.
The system can automatically scan and record every face and log the time of entry whilst simultaneously cross matching all scans against your own or our public database instantly alerting you to any banned/unwanted persons. And Face alert has many other applications such as being able to identify important customers or visitors accessing your premises allowing you to greet them accordingly.
What is Face Recognition?
There are many methods of biometric identification: some being fingerprint, eye iris, retina, voice and image matching each having certain advantages and disadvantages. Most of the above require precise placing of say the hand, finger tip or eye on a reader or scanner thus significantly slowing traffic flow. Face alert face recognition unobtrusively scans people's faces as they enter a defined area, by simply glancing at a camera on entry. There is no intrusion or delay, and in most cases the subjects are entirely unaware of the process. They do not need to feel "under surveillance" or that their privacy has been invaded.
How Our Face Recognition Technology Works
Face recognition systems work by using images captured by specialised cameras and software. Once a facial image is captured, certain unique characteristics of the face are “mapped” into a face template. The template is then stored in a database and used later by the system to compare against new images.
A good example might be a door access system that uses a camera for employee or membership identification. Face templates would be pre-registered into the door controller system’s database so when a registered and approved user approaches the entrance, their image is rapidly captured, scanned and compared to the database’s stored templates. If the match is successful then access is automatically granted whilst unsuccessful (or flagged) attempts are instantly alerted to security.
Hard To Fool
Face recognition is also very difficult to fool. It works by comparing facial ‘landmarks’ - specific proportions and angles of defined facial features - which cannot easily be concealed by beards, eyeglasses or makeup.
The Ideal Solution
Face alert face recognition is highly effective in identifying undesirable persons in high traffic areas open to the general public, such as:
Transport gateways
Casinos
Concerts, Exhibitions and Shows
Cash points
Secure Areas
Stadiums and Venues
Transportation
Financial Institutions
Public Access Offices
Businesses of all kinds
